Pictographs of the word give natan נתן

  • נ nun is a picture of a seed. Spiritually it represents a man bent down. Jesus came as the humble servant.
  • ת tav is a picture of a cross. On the cross Jesus paid for the sin man. He humbled Himself to death on cross.
  • ן sofit nun represents the victorious man. Jesus was raised from the dead, and conquered hell and death.

Sofit Letters

Five Hebrew letters change form when appearing at the end of a word, known as sofit (final) letters, or collectively as "Mantzepach"מנצפך . They look different—mostly extending below the line—but sound the same as their regular counterparts.

The five letters are:

  • Khaf כ regular, Khaf sofit ך
  • Mem מ regular, mem sofit  ם
  • Nun נ regular, nun sofit ן
  • Pey פ regular, pey ף sofit
  • Tzadi צ  regular, tzadi sofit ץ

The נ nun

  • The word give starts with a regular nun נ. The nun at the end of the word is the sofit nun ן .
  • The regular nun represents a man who is humble before God. The sofit nun represents the upright who will stand before God in the last day to get his harvest.
  • The example of Jesus:
  • “And being found in human form, He (Jesus) humbled, נ , Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore, God has highly exalted Him, ן ,and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth”. Philippians 2:9-10.

The Idea of Sewing

  • God initiated the idea of sowing:
  • Let the earth sprout vegetation yielding seed, Genesis 1:11.
  • Sowing implies that there will be a harvest:
  • “Do not be deceived whatever a man sows, that he will reap”, Galatians 6:7.
  • This is the case both in the spiritual, as the above states, and the physical as in Genesis 26:12:
  •  “Isaac planted crops in the land the same year reaped a hundred fold because the Lord blessed him”.

Harvesting depends on certain requirements

  • The quantity of the seed, 2 Corinthians 9:6
  • The type of seed, Galatians 6:7
  • The condition of the soil, Luke 8:5
  • The timing of sowing, Ecclesiastes 11:4

Explanatory Verses

  • Quantity: “The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully”, 2 Corinthians 9:6.
  • Type of seed: “Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water”, James 3:12.
  • Soil: “And as he sowed some fell along the path… some fell on rock…some fell among thorns….. Some fell into good soil and grew and yielded a hundredfold”, Luke 8:4-8
  • Timing: “In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good”.

Biblical Requirement for a Good Harvest

  • Obedience
  • “And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God”, Deuteronomy 28:2.
  •  Faith
  •  “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going”, Hebrews 11:8.
  • Response
  • “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves”, James 1:22.

Either Blessing or Curse Follow Sowing

  • Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap, Galatians 6:7.
  • And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God, Deuteronomy 28:2.
  • But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you, Deuteronomy 28:15.

Numerical Value of Give - 500

  • Nun נ = 50 + Tav ת = 400 + Sofit nun = 50 = 500
  • The number 500 in biblical numerology can have two opposing outcomes which depends on obedience, faith and action.
  • The number 500 in the Hebrew alphabet is represented by its 23rd letter called the final or sofit khaf. The number 23 is the number Jesus associates Himself.

with: “I am the aleph”, first letter, “and the tav” 22nd letter. Sum of these letters 23.

  • Definition 500 in the Greek section of Strong's Concordance is the word antichristos

Jesus as the seed, Eternal Life

  • “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit”, John 12:24.
  • “But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep”, 1 Corinthians 15:20.
  • “For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at His coming those who belong to Christ”, 1 Corinthians 15:22-23.
