ז   zayin — pictograph of a weapon or agricultural implement.

כ   kaf     — pictograph of palm of the hand.

ר  resh   — pictograph of a man’s head.

The weapon in a man’s hand saves him.

Hebrews 4:12: The Word of God is living and active, and sharper than a two-edged sword. 

Nehemiah 1:8. Remember the word that you commanded Your servant Moses.

Nehemiah 5:19. Remember for my good, O my God, all that I have done for this people.

Nehemiah 6:14. Remember Tobiah and Sanballat.

Nehemiah 13:14. Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and do not wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God.

Nehemiah 13:22. Remember this also in my favour. O my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your steadfast love.

Eight Hebrew letters are adorned by attaching a tagin on the letter.

The Hebrew word zakar starts with the letter zayin ז.

Zayin with the tagin represents Jesus as the crowned man.

He is the King of kings — “He Who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and the Lord of lords”, 1 Timothy 6:15.

“The Lion of the tribe of Judah” — Revelation 5:5.

The word remember speaks of covenant relationship.

The thief on the cross said to Jesus:

Luke 23:42. “‘Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.’ And Jesus said to him, ‘Truly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise’”.

Deuteronomy 2:14. “And the time from our leaving Kadesh Barnea, until we crossed the brook Zered, 38 years.” Moses sent the spies out from Kadesh Barnea. Here, God sentenced them to wander in the desert because of their unbelief. 38 years later, they were on the banks of the Jordan.

John 5:1-9 “One man was there who had been an invalid for 38 years”.

Jesus healed this paralysed man at the pool of Bethesda. 

The word remember is used in covenant language.

The first time the word is used is in Genesis 8:1 when God made His covenant with Noah “And God  remembered Noah.” The same word is used in Genesis 19:9, God remembered Abraham, and freed Lot; the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt and God remembered His covenant with Abraham and set them free, Exodus 2:24; when Israel sinned, the book of Judges describes this as not remembering the Lord their God.

Jesus made the New Covenant in His blood. Hebrews 8:10 - 12 describes a covenant where the law would be written on the hearts of Israel and that God will forgive their iniquities, and will remember their sins no more.
