Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you. He will never leave you or forsake you.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed before the king of Assyria and all the horde that is with him, for there are more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to  fight our battles,

2 Chronicles 32:7


Finally be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, Ephesians 6:10.



Joshua’s courage was based on the fact that God would fight their battles.


To be strong requires waiting on the Lord 

Synonum of Courageous

The word courageous is described by two synonyms:

Not to be afraid or dismayed.




The reason why - The Lord your God will fight your battles.

Jesus as the fisherman

God is the strong leader, א Who loved the world, מ so much that He gave His only Son, so that whosoever believes צ in Him, will not perish but have eternal life, — Courage, amats אמצ

Jesus is the strong leader א Who will draw צ all people מ to Father.

 “‘Come, follow Me א ,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will make you מ fishers צ  of men’”, Matthew 4:19. Courage, amats אמצ

No one מ can come to Me א unless the Father Who sent Me draws צ him. And I will raise him up on the last day, John 6:44.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one מ comes צ to the Father except through Me א, John 14:6.


Numerical Value of Courage amats 131

The number 100.

The number of abundance.

Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty, Matthew 13:8.


The number 31.

The abbreviated form the word Elohim is El אל.

This word has a numerical value of 31: א = 1, ל = 30.

Courage expressed in numbers therefore speaks of God’s abundance.


Conclusion

The command, “Be strong and courageous!” is not reliant on man’s strength, but on his obedience to God’s commandments, Deuteronomy 1:7.


God’s promises are certain. It requires trust in the Lord through painful and laborious efforts, sometimes for a long time.



Courage means seeing the process through without being afraid in order

to receive an abundant blessing from the Lord.


Prayer

May the Lord give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you.
