Double Numbers
Psalm 112:2, when the colon is dropped, has reflects two double numbers, 11 and 22. The number 11 speaks of transition - particularly from death to life.
John 11:11 “After saying these things, He said to them, ‘Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him’”. The number 22 depicts how God Himself acts against the adversary.
Numbers 22:22, “But God’s anger was kindled because he went, and the angel of the LORD took His stand in the way as his adversary”.
Let this be so - Amen: The numerical value of the word a-m-e-n in English is 1 + 13 + 5 + 14 = 33.
Lazarus was awaken to physical life, but through the blood of Jesus, man is awakened to spiritual life. The numerical value of the word blood in Hebrew, dam דם, is 44.
Because sinners are pardoned by the blood, they are at peace with God. Isaiah 55. Verse 12 reads: “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands”. And this verse in Hebrew has 66 letters.
Through Jesus, God made known His power. Psalm 77:14 (7 + 7), “You are the God
who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples”.
This same Jesus Who is the Redeemer of the world, will return as the Ruler of the world.
Acts 1:11 “And said, ‘Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.’”
Jesus was lifted up in a cloud and will return with the clouds. The word cloud appears 88 times in the KJV Old Testament.
The last word in the New Testament is
amen ἀμήν, and the numerical value of the Greek letters of this word is 99. Amen, אמנ, is the Hebrew acronym for
El Melech ne’eman. God the faithful king.
